SMS Terms

Yardley Eruv text alerts.

Program. Yardley Eruv text alerts tell subscribers whether the eruv is up or down for Shabbat. You receive them only if you give your mobile number and choose Text or Both on the sign-up form at yardleyeruv.com.

Frequency. About one message per week, sent Friday afternoon, with an occasional follow-up if the status changes before Shabbat.

Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s normal charges apply to messages you send and receive.

To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and no further texts. To start again, reply START or sign up on the site.

For help, reply HELP to any message, or email rabbi@jewishyardley.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Signing up is not required for anything else on this site, and is free.

Email

Email alerts.

Email alerts carry the same weekly status. Every one includes an unsubscribe link that removes you straight away.

The Status

What an alert can and cannot tell you.

The status reflects the most recent check of the eruv boundary. Damage can happen after a check, and an alert can be delayed or fail to arrive. When in doubt, check yardleyeruv.com before Shabbat, or consult your rabbi.

Privacy

Your information.

How your name, number, and email are used is set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
